No, we offer mobile windshield repair and auto glass services anywhere in West Michigan, weather permitting. If you need to or would prefer to bring your vehicle to us, we have 8 convenient West Michigan locations to serve you.
Do I need to contact my insurance agent or insurance company first?
No. We have pre-approved status with all the major auto insurance companies and we’ll do the ‘paperwork’. We will guide you through the entire claims process.
Will my insurance company waive my deductible if my windshield is repaired rather than replaced?
Yes, in most cases. Our representatives at Allstar Glass are more than happy to assist in answering your questions regarding your insurance coverage.
Will checking on my deductible or inquiring about an my insurance coverages, raise my insurance rates?
No. Just verifying your insurance coverage is not the same as making a claim; however, to be certain, please refer to your insurance policy.
Will filing an auto glass claim make my insurance rates go up?
Having your windshield repaired or replaced is not considered an ‘at fault’ accident; however, to be certain, please refer to your policy or contact your agent and/or insurance provider to confirm your specific coverage.
I only have liability coverage. Is auto glass repair covered by my liability coverage?
No. Liability insurance only provides coverage for damages to another vehicle; therefore, auto glass repair and replacement services are not covered under your liability policy.
What if my deductible is the same or more than the auto glass service?
Then there would be no need to file an insurance claim. Allstar Glass offers multiple payment options including cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard.
What is the difference between O.E.M. and Aftermarket glass?
O.E.M. means Original Equipment Manufacturer or the same brand of glass installed at the automobile manufacturing plant. Aftermarket means any other brand. The United States Department of Transportation requires that all brands of automotive glass meet specific requirements that are equal to the original brand used by the manufacturer. If you have a brand preference, just let us know.
How long will it be before I can safely drive my vehicle?
Our technicians are highly skilled and use only the best materials and adhesives; however, curing time is still required. In most cases, your vehicle will be safe to drive one hour after your new windshield is installed. If any additional time is required, the technician will advise you.
Do you clean up the broken glass in my vehicle?
Yes. Our technicians will vacuum the broken glass from your vehicle's interior and remove broken glass behind interior trim.
Do you provide ‘Same Day’ Service?

I have parking stickers on my broken windshield, can they be saved?
Yes, in most cases we can transfer stickers to your new windshield, however some stickers become void upon removal.
Are your technicians certified?
Yes, our technicians are certified by the National Glass Association (NGA), I-CAR and O.E.M. adhesive manufacturers. This means that they have been thoroughly trained in the proper procedures for repair and replacement of auto glass, to return your vehicle to manufacturer specifications.
